Those who wish for a day when warfare is at and end, ignore the fundamental characteristic of humankind, that is, to be warlike. This is proven by the myriad wars over the centuries and in more prosaic examples by the fact that every drama, be it a play, book or Hollywood blockbuster, must have as its central characteristic conflict, otherwise the public will have no interest in it.
